What is the Hispanic Art Center of Omaha (HACO)?
The Hispanic Art Center of Omaha (HACO) is a cultural organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, and celebrating traditional and contemporary arts within the Latinx community, with a special emphasis on Mexican folkloric dance. HACO serves as a space for artistic training, community gathering, and the strengthening of cultural identity in Omaha.
Through the arts, HACO fosters pride in our roots, encourages inclusion, and creates opportunities for children, youth, and adults to connect with their heritage while developing discipline, creativity, and leadership skills.

To preserve, teach, and disseminate Latin American cultural arts—primarily folkloric dance—as a tool for education, identity building, inclusion, and community transformation.

To be a cultural reference in Omaha and the region, recognized for artistic excellence, community impact, and commitment to developing new generations of artists and cultural leaders proud of their roots.
